Stroll up from the sand, thongs in hand and chill out at Beach Espresso Café on Watson Avenue in Caloundra. Take a sunny seat alfresco and watch surfers hanging ten on the waves, while soaking up a relaxing vibe of beach, sea, salt air and healthy, nutritious fare. More adventurous guests may be tempted to drop in on the beach sports shop inside and take a kite surfing lesson, before enjoying a bite to eat from a classic café menu featuring fresh juices, smoothies, wraps and burgers. For a sweet bottom turn at breaky, tuck into a Be Amazing Bowl with oats and chia seeds, soaked overnight with almond milk and topped with banana, mango chia pudding, honey, cinnamon and coconut. Those looking for a lunchtime lay back, can tuck into Japanese prawn dumplings with wakame salad and edamame beans.
